OVERVIEW: The Counselor Delivers High-Quality, Age-Appropriate Positive Youth Development Activities After School For Children In Grades K-5. The Counselor Recruits And Enrolls Participants, completes progress Assessments, And Facilitates The Delivery Of The Program And Curriculum. Programming Includes Academic Support, Homework Help, Group Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Health, Nutrition And Physical Fitness, Arts Enrichment, And Social-Emotional Learning. 2-Years Of Experience Preferred.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
School-Aged Childcare: 1 Year
DCF 40 Introductory Child Care Training, Preferred

HOURS: Monday-Friday
RATE OF PAY: $14.00-$16/Hour

OPEN POSITION: Assistant Program Coordinator/Counselor
Type: PT, up to 35 hours

OVERVIEW: The Assistant Program Coordinator helps the coordinator Maintain DCF Compliance For The Licensed School-Age After-School Program. The position also provides for Facilitating Activities, And Ensuring A Caring, Fun, And Responsible Program Culture That Prioritizes Children's Positive Development. The  assistant Coordinator helps to Recruit And Enroll Participants, Performs progress assessments, performs Data Entry, And Facilitates The Delivery Of The Program And Curriculum. Programming Includes Academic Support, Homework Help, Group Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Health, Nutrition And Physical Fitness, Arts Enrichment, And Social-Emotional Learning.

High School Diploma or equivalent
School-Aged Childcare: 2 years
Staff Credential, Preferred

HOURS: Monday-Friday
RATE OF PAY: $16.00-$17/hour
