Programming Includes Academic Support, Homework Help, Group Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Health and Nutrition, Physical Fitness, Arts Enrichment, And Social-Emotional Learning. 2-Years Of Experience Preferred.

OVERVIEW: Urgent, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, creative, and experienced educator that can coach elementary and middle school students in grades K-8 to love reading, improve oral reading fluency and improve reading comprehension. Experience with non-English speakers is a plus. The certified teacher is responsible for instilling a love a reading, assessing student progress, implementing reading interventions, and facilitating differentiated literacy instruction for students needing extra help. Educators work in the after school or summer camp setting.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Bachelors Degree + Active Teaching Credential, PreferredReading Instruction Specialty; ESOL a plusAt least one year experience leading groups of children in an educational setting
HOURS: Monday-Friday
