Position: Youth Development Counselor- Summer Camp
Hourly Rate: $12-14, based on experience and education
Location: Overtown and Coral Gables
Hours: Full Time 40 Hours a Week (Day Camp); Part Time (Camp After Care) 15 Hours a Week
Time: June 10, 2019- July 28, 2019
Counselors are responsible for implementing and supervising all aspects of daily activities for children registered in the program. Counselors ensure that the summer program fosters children’s social- emotional, physical and educational, growth in a safe empowering environment. Candidates must enjoy working with children ages 5-13 and be able to work in multiple settings such as classrooms, outside, cafeterias and playgrounds. Counselors are responsible for the daily supervision of a group of up to 20 children. Preferred Skills: Visual or Performing Arts, Multi-Media Film and Video, Photography, Cheer, Music, Etiquette, or other creative skills. Minimum Education: High School Diploma, 2 years volunteer or professional experience preferred. Level 2 Background Screening Required.

Position: Youth Development Jr. Counselor- Summer Camp
Hourly Rate: $9-12, based on experience and education
Location: Overtown and Coral Gables
Hours: 20 Hours a Week
Time: June 10, 2019- July 28, 2019
Jr. Counselors are responsible for assisting staff with all aspects of daily activities for children registered in the program. Jr. Counselors work together with staff to ensure that the after school and/or summer program fosters children’s social-emotional, physical and educational, growth in a safe well-organized environment.

Position: Project Manager, Summer
Hourly Rate: $21, based on experience and education
Location: Overtown, Liberty City, Little Haiti
Hours: 40 Hours a Week
Time: May 1, 2019- August 2, 2019
The Project Manager will have both internal and external-facing responsibilities. Responsibilities will range from providing program support (high-quality program data management, communications, written reports, volunteer engagement, event support), to administration (contract compliance, grant writing, strategic planning, facilities), and human capital (human resource recruiting, on-boarding, personnel file management, professional development). The best candidate is looking to build or continue a career in non-profit management, social enterprise management or share their skills and talents with a change-making organization.

Position: Career and Technical Education Intern Coordinator, Summer
Hourly Rate: $17, based on experience and education
Location: Overtown, Liberty City, Little Haiti
Hours: 40 Hours a Week
Time: June 1, 2019- August 2, 2019
The CTE Coordinator directly oversee youth interns work training, preparation and performance during the job training program. The CTE facilitates youth development, work readiness and 21 st Century Skills curricula in order to help youth build on their strengths. The position provides guidance in career development and functioning in a workplace. Record keeping and attention to detail a must. Must love working with high school youth. High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Two (2) years volunteer or professional experience required. Level 2 Background Screening Required.

Position: Career and Technical Instructors (CTE)
Hourly Rate: $17/hour
Location: Overtown, Liberty City, Little Haiti
Hours: 20-40 Hours a Week
Time: June 1, 2019- August 2, 2019
CTE Instructors will serve as entrepreneurial training supervisors to teach students important skills in the creative design fields through a co-curricular project-based learning model that sees interns apply training that results in the production of professional grade products that can, but are not limited to, youth media content including film/video, photography, printed newspaper, social media posts, Wordpress-powered website, e-mail newsletter, You-Tube videos, radio podcast, 3D Design/prints, etc. Instructors will enhance class-based learning with guest speakers, job shadowing experiences, short-term internship placements, acquisition of “real” business test projects and other related field trips. Record Keeping, Lesson Planning, Intern Evaluation and documentation of learning are required. All interns must work to complete a portfolio of learning and be prepared to present learning at two community expo events. High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Two (2) years volunteer or professional experience and portfolio review required. Level 2 Background Screening Required.

Position: Job Coach
Hourly Rate: $15-17/hour
Location: Overtown, Liberty City, Little Haiti
Hours: 40 Hours a Week
Time: June 1, 2019- August 2, 2019
The Job Coach directly oversees youth interns work training, preparation and performance during their summer internship. We are looking for a competent Job coach to help high school and college interns enhance their strengths and improve their job skills. You will provide guidance in career development and functioning in the workplace. The position also requires the facilitation of workshops related to build 21 Century Skills, Leadership Development, Work Readiness and Social Emotional Learning. High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Two (2) years volunteer or professional experience and portfolio review required. Level 2 Background Screening Required.

Position: Creative Design and Technology Internship
Hourly Rate: $12/hour
Location: Overtown, Liberty City, Little Haiti
Hours: 20-30 Hours a Week, various positions
Time: June 1, 2019- August 2, 2019
College Level Interns will assist industry professionals and CTE Coordinators in the implementation and training of high school students in the creative design fields through a co-curricular project-based learning model that sees interns apply training that results in the production of professional grade products that can, but are not limited to youth media content including film/video, photography, printed newspaper, social media posts, Wordpress-powered website, e-mail newsletter, You-Tube videos, radio podcast, 3D Design/prints, etc. High School Diploma; Enrolled in Vocational School, College or University. One (1) year volunteer or professional experience and portfolio review required. Level 2 Background Screening Required.
